Keith Panel Systems was founded in 1986 with three staff members and a vision: to redefine how exterior wall panel systems should appear and perform. Our proprietary KPS System A certainly achieved this. It set an unprecedented standard for Rainscreen performance – a standard that is now demanded by consultants and governing institutions.
KPS is now the largest dedicated architectural facade panel fabricator & installer on the West Coast of North America. We do the investigative work for you and only offer facade materials that have demonstrated their ability to meet code requirements, be virtually maintenance-free, and endure for the life of your building. We respect the importance of environmental sustainability. Many of our products contribute to meeting LEED accreditation and our LEED Green Associate ensures we properly assist you in achieving certification. KPS has engineered new technology – such as the KPS ThermaSmart Clip – to meet and exceed the thermal performance targets being increasingly prescribed for buildings. In our fabrication facility, we’ve implemented comprehensive recycling programs to minimize waste. Combined, these efforts help us do our part in reducing our carbon footprint.
Keith Panel Systems has achieved the Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence (OSSE). The certification process is conducted by WorkSafeBC through the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC and acknowledges KPS with the Certificate of Recognition (COR).
COR recognizes and rewards employers who go beyond the legal requirements of the Workers Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation by taking a ‘best practices’ approach to implementing health, safety, injury management and return-to-work (RTW) management systems. The program equally promotes the concept of managing health and safety together with other components necessary for a successful business.
Every year, KPS is very proud to donate to Vancouver Food Runners. Their food recovery program redirects surplus food from over 150 food businesses to a network of nonprofit partners working with people experiencing food insecurity. The program is a true community effort between food donors, volunteers, and nonprofit partners. The program assists the most vulnerable members of our community. It is the hardworking staff at KPS and our industry partners that make it possible for us to support this very worthy cause.
At Keith Panel Systems, we are committed to having a strong and resilient supply chain that upholds international human rights and labour standards, as laid out in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. We recognize our responsibility to actively safeguard the working conditions of the people who manufacture our input products. Our policies aim to eradicate modern slavery, including forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking. Our approach relies on managing a responsible supply chain program and collaborating with suppliers and partners who share our values and support us in advancing the wellbeing of workers worldwide. As our business grows, we will continue to leverage collective action to elevate our practices and drive industry improvements.
Report a Grievance in our Supply Chain
We address human rights complaints related to our operations that are material, substantiated, and raised through legitimate processes. These include issues that may contravene our Vendor Code of Ethics or are in breach of international human rights directly within the workforce at Keith Panel Systems. Wherever possible, every complaint is investigated, and a response or resolution is provided to the complainant. When appropriate, we provide for, or cooperate in remediation strategies. We require all our suppliers to have site-level grievance mechanisms available to their workers. Anyone is able to report a grievance by sending an email to sustainablepartner@kpsystems.ca. This enables individuals and organizations to raise non-compliance issues. Individuals can also raise grievances directly with regional RSC team members or representatives. Employees of Keith Panel Systems are strongly encouraged to report actual or perceived violations of Keith Panel Systems Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
